Our head barista shares her recipe
To brew our iced coffee full of flavour, grab a bag of your favourite filter coffee.
We’re using our single origin Izuba natural.
You will need:
- 20g of coffee ground for filter
- 150g hot water
- 150g ice
Brewing equipment:
- A kettle (pour over or regular)
- V60 brewer
- Filter papers
- Glass jug
- A tall glass
Method:
Step 1: Put the kettle on. Whilst the kettle is boiling, wet your filter paper with cold water over a sink. Fill your glass jug with ice, and position your V60 over the jug with the wet filter paper. Measure out 20g of Izuba Natural into your V60, gently tap the sides to ensure the coffee is even.
Step 2: Bloom the coffee by pouring over 40g of water in a circular motion over the V60 for 30 seconds. Allow the bloom to settle, before continuing to slowly pour over the remaining hot water in a circular motion for around 2-3 minutes.
Step 3: Give your iced filter a swirl and pour into a tall glass, or reusable cup.
Best enjoyed wearing a pair or extra sunglasses, listening to reggae in the sun.
