Our Social Impact Report 2025 launched recently, and we're overwhelmed with the response to it. Notably our most impactful year to date, we’ve been super excited to share where we’ve exceeded the mark, and where we're placing our focus in 2026.

Let’s get into it...

The Impact

The current national reoffending rate lands at 42%. The known reoffending rate across our employed Participants?

0%.

So reducing reoffending through coffee? It works…

Securing meaningful employment is a key pillar in our mission to reduce reoffending for a reason. Namely, because 59% of prison leavers who are reconvicted are in unemployment. Understanding that, through close contact with people with lived experience in prisons, has been key in our work to reduce reoffending.

The Shops

With 12 shops across London, one of our biggest aims of the year was to employ more prison leavers.  With Participants making up 29% of our workforce, that’s a huge increase on 2024. It’s a testament to the dedication of our Participants, and consistent caseworker support from our Impact team.

So, how does that look when we break it down? In 2025, a grand total of 36,071 hours were worked by participants in our shops - a massive 85% increase from 2024, and a testament to exactly what changing lives with coffee looks like.

The Roastery

2025 was a huge year for our roastery, as we relocated it to our new Wembley location. Why? The simple fact is that more room = more coffee roasted, and more coffee roasted means more opportunities to employ and support prison leavers.
