Great coffee doesn't start at the roastery. It starts with the people who grow it, and the best of it often comes from relationships built over many harvests.

Our Relationship series is a single origin coffee subscription built around those partnerships. Every coffee in it comes from a producer or producer group we've bought from again and again: people we know, trust and keep returning to.

Why long-term relationships matter

Much of the coffee world still runs on one-off purchases. A roaster buys a lot, moves on to the next, and the producer has no idea whether they'll have a buyer next season.

Buying from the same people year after year changes that. When producers know their coffee has a reliable home, they can plan ahead, invest in their farms and try new approaches. Over time, that consistency shows up in the cup.

The Relationship series exists to show the value of that commitment. These coffees don't need to be the highest scoring or the most experimental. They're chosen because they demonstrate what's possible when a roaster and a producer grow together.

The story behind every cup

Each Relationship coffee comes with the story of the partnership behind it, centred on:

• The producer and their farm: who they are, where they grow and how they work
• The history of the relationship: how and when we first started buying from them
• How the partnership has evolved: what has changed as we've worked together
• Quality improvements over time: how the coffee has developed harvest by harvest
• Mutual commitment: what long-term collaboration means for both sides

It's traceable coffee in the fullest sense. You don't just know the country or region; you know the people.

What you'll receive

Every month, our Head of Coffee chooses a coffee from one of our long-term partners. We roast it fresh in London and send you a 250g or 1kg bag, with notes on the producer, their farm and the history of our partnership.
